2. Music Requirements

Edmwarriors has built a solid reputation for its commitment to professional quality and high standards – and we plan to keep it that way. We put real effort into handpicking tracks that reflect our values and the level of excellence our platform stands for.

Originality

All submitted works must be 100% original and fully produced by the seller. Works previously sent to artists, labels, DJs, or any third parties are not accepted.

Uploading tracks that have already been shared on other ghost production platforms, websites, or social media is strictly prohibited. To maintain integrity and accuracy in our verification system, collaborations are not allowed.

Quality

Works listed for sale on our platform must meet both technical and commercial standards in terms of quality and structure. Each track should be fully finished, professionally mixed and mastered, and on par with top industry releases and playlists.

Rules

We have a set of rules that you must follow and respect to sell music on our platform.

  • All music sold on Edmwarriors must be 100% original and created solely by you. Collaborations, ghost produced tracks that you did not create yourself, remixes, covers, bootlegs, copyrighted samples, MIDI packs, or template-based works are strictly prohibited.
  • You can use royalty-free or AI-generated melodic loops and samples in your productions – just keep it creative. Use no more than one melodic loop per sample pack, and clearly list any licensed samples when submitting your track.
  • Any content submitted is exclusive and confidential to Edmwarriors – you may not publish, share, or distribute it anywhere else.
  • Violating these terms may lead to a permanent ban and legal action, including compensation for all damages caused to customers or Edmwarriors (e.g., reworks, promotions, legal fees, etc.).
  • You are personally and legally responsible for any fraudulent or plagiarized work.

3. Upload Information

Name

Names should creatively express and sell the work just like an original song would. We are selling finished, professional works - a strong, original title adds value, while generic, tag-based, or SEO-style names reduce it.

Follow these guidelines to name your work properly:

  • Use Title Case
  • Choose an original song-style name, e.g., "Love Reigns"

Do not:

  • Mention artists, labels, genres, or dates
  • Use double titles, e.g., "Get Over You (La La La)"
  • Use tags or SEO-style names, e.g., "Hard Solid Groove"
  • Use ALL CAPS (except for official abbreviations)

Genres

Select up to three genres that best describe your work. The first genre is the main one and may be displayed individually in certain sections, so choose it carefully.

The second and third genres are optional and should only be used if they are truly relevant to the work. Avoid adding unrelated genres, as inaccurate tagging may result in penalties or reduced visibility.

Tags

Sellers can add up to three tags to better describe their works – for example, related labels, DJs, or artists.

Tags should be used to describe the style, references, mood, or composition of the work. Avoid including any offensive words, irrelevant information, or advertisements.

Please use clear and relevant tags that add value beyond the information already provided in other fields. For instance, if you’ve already labeled your work under the genre "Deep House", you must not repeat it as a tag.

Accurate tagging helps buyers discover your work more easily and find music that matches their taste – so take a moment to choose them thoughtfully.

Description

Write a short, commercial description of your track – for example: "Professional track like Hardwell and Olly James – unique sound with epic powerful leads."

The description must:

  • Start with a capital letter.
  • Not use ALL CAPS, except for official abbreviations (e.g., UK, TUTB).
  • Be written in English.
  • Use correct spelling and grammar throughout.

Make sure all brand names, plugins, and software start with a capital letter. A clear and well-written description makes your track look more professional and attractive to buyers.

SEO tips

  • Use a clear and original track name to increase your chances of being featured in Favorites and Premium.
  • Add accurate tags that include relevant keywords such as labels, artists, or mood.
  • Use the artwork to catch the customer’s attention – keywords such as artist names, labels, genres, or dates are allowed.

  • Must include an intro and an outro, each with a minimum of 8 bars of drums, except for drumless genres like Ambient or Experimental.
  • The Master (final mastered version) and the Mixdown (unmastered version) must strictly follow the specifications outlined in the table below.
Version Format Loudness Notes
Master WAV 44.1 kHz / 24 or 32 bit LUFS between -6 and -2 / Peak between -0.3 and 0 dB Clean, powerful, and well-balanced. Free from distortion (unless intentional) or muddiness.

2. Extended Instrumental

Same as Extended Mix but without lead vocals.

Requirements:
  • Must not contain lead vocals - lead vocals are those taking center stage of the track and featuring lyrics.
  • Keep other vocal elements (without lyrics) used as melodic instruments, such as vocal chops or ambient layers.
  • The Master and Mixdown must strictly adhere to the format shown in the Extended Mix table above.

3. Radio Mix

Shorter track version designed for radio and streaming. It should exclude intro and outro drums, reaching the main section quickly for immediate impact. This file is optional, increases the chances of a sale, and is offered to customers for free.

Requirements:
  • Must be at least 2 minutes long. The recommended duration is 2–5 minutes, depending on the genre.
  • Must exclude intro and outro drums and might have shorter structure as well.
  • The composition and arrangement must match the Extended Mix, with no additional instruments or effects – only structural variations are allowed.
Version Format Loudness Notes
Master WAV 44.1 kHz / 24 or 32 bit LUFS between -9 and -2 / Peak between -0.3 and 0 dB Clean, powerful, and well-balanced. Free from distortion (unless intentional) or muddiness.
Mixdown WAV 44.1 kHz / 24 or 32 bit Peak ≤ -3 dB No limiter or mastering effects. Duration and arrangement must be identical to the master.

4. Radio Instrumental

Same as Radio Mix but without lead vocals.

Requirements:
  • Must not contain lead vocals - lead vocals are those taking center stage of the track and featuring lyrics.
  • Keep other vocal elements (without lyrics) used as melodic instruments, such as vocal chops or ambient layers.
  • The Master and Mixdown must strictly adhere to the format shown in the Radio mix table above.

5. Stems

Stems are the individual instrument tracks of the work. They must be included and submitted in a compressed ZIP folder.

Requirements:
  • WAV 44.1 kHz / 24 or 32 bit.
  • The stems must correspond to the Extended Mix version.
  • Name each stem precisely using the exact instrument name (e.g. "Kick", "Bass", "Lead").
  • All stems must have the same duration as the Master and Mixdown.
  • Avoid including muted or grouped tracks (e.g., "Kick+Bass" bounces) and ensure all required tracks are present. Exclude duplicate or irrelevant files such as project files, Ableton .asd files, or text notes.
  • All stems played together must perfectly recreate the Mixdown sound.
  • When played together, the master/output channel peak level must not exceed -3 dB.
  • Submit stems as separate as possible – each instrument individually.
  • If group processing or bus processing was applied, read the "Organization" section below.
Organization:

Please ensure that the stems in your stems folder file can be dragged into a DAW and perfectly recreate the Mixdown sound. All stems played together must exactly match the Mixdown, including levels and effects.

If you’ve applied bus processing or group processing, follow this structure:

  • Main folder – Include only:
    • Main stems
    • Bus-processed tracks - If you’ve applied bus processing (Reverb, parallel compression, FX, etc.), include those buses —but only for the instruments that actually affect the sound — in the main folder along with the stems. Name them following this format "[Instrument] Bus" (e.g., "Lead Bus")

This ensures that when all files are dragged and dropped into a DAW, the Mixdown sound is preserved exactly.

  • Group processing subfolder(s): If group processing (compression, EQ, FX, etc.) was applied, include the ungrouped individual tracks or layers in a subfolder for each group, named "Ungrouped [Instrument]" (e.g., Ungrouped Lead), within the main folder.

Avoid including duplicates such as full master, current, or mixdown versions inside the stems folder. And again - we must be able to drag and drop all the main stems into a DAW and have them sound exactly like the Mixdown.

Test this yourself in your DAW before submitting — it only takes 5 minutes and can save up to a week of delay in your publication. Stems are the most frequent source of submission errors!

Here’s a perfect example of how your package should be structured.

Download Stems Template

6. Project File

Provide the complete original production project of the Extended Mix version, including all elements and settings used during its creation.

Requirements:
  • The project file must correspond to the Extended Mix version.
  • The folder must include the main project file along with all audio samples and assets required for proper playback. When exporting your project, ensure all required audio files are included:
    • In Ableton Live, go to File → Collect All and Save.
    • In FL Studio, choose File → Export → Zipped Loop Package.
  • The project file should contain:
    • All editable MIDI data used in the track, including all applied processing, exactly as it sounds in the final master.
    • All processing applied within the project, including the mastering channel. If the master is managed in a separate project, place it in a dedicated subfolder.
    • Additionally, the frozen tracks for any third-party VST instruments to ensure compatibility for customers who may not have those plugins installed.
  • Remove redundant or irrelevant files from the folder such as duplicate project versions, backup files, Ableton .asd files, or text notes.
  • Ensure the project file name matches the track name exactly – avoid adding labels, references, or dates. Also, ensure that all audio files retain their original filenames so the project can detect them properly.
  • Make sure the "Creation process" section accurately reflects the actual content of the project file.

We currently support the following DAWs: Ableton Live, FL Studio, Logic Pro, Studio One, and Cubase. If you use a different DAW, you can still submit your track by selecting "Other" under the DAW option – however, please contact support beforehand. Note that in such cases, the project file cannot be made available for sale.

7. MIDI

Your MIDI folder should contain all MIDI information used in the track in MIDI.

Requirements:
  • The MIDI folder must contain all individual MIDI files for each instrument used in the track, saved in .mid format. Double-check to ensure none are missing.
  • Each file should be clearly named (e.g., Arp.mid, Lead.mid, Bass.mid, etc.).

8. Art Cover

The official artwork of the track.

Requirements:
  • JPG or PNG format.

  • Missing or misnamed vocal layers.
  • Disorganized folder or file structure in the layers ZIP folder.

7. Creation Process

Production type

Select the option that best describes how your track was produced:

  • Original: Fully custom-made instruments, no melodic samples used.
  • Hybrid: Original work enriched with royalty-free loops or AI.
  • Sampled: Built around modified royalty-free loops or AI.
  • AI-generated: Built fully around AI-generated audio.

Vocal type

Indicate the vocal type present in your track:

  • Without: Tracks that do not contain a main vocal. Vocal chops or arrangements without clear lyrics are not considered vocals but rather melodic samples, and must be listed in the Samples list section instead.
  • Non-exclusive:

Non-exclusive vocals are available to multiple users and may have already been used in other tracks – some are even quite popular. Since exclusive vocals can be expensive or hard to obtain, producers may use non-exclusive vocals from trusted sources like Splice or Loopcloud.

These vocals must include a royalty-free license with no credit or royalty obligations, and samples from unverified sources like Looperman, YouTube, or Samplefocus are not allowed, as their originality cannot be guaranteed. Always use safe, verified material to avoid copyright issues.

If your track contains non-exclusive vocals, you’ll be required to provide:

    • Vocal sample pack: Follow this format – "Production Company – Name of the Pack" – maintaining the original naming style (e.g., Dropgun Samples – BYOR Tech House). Note: Do not list marketplaces like Splice or Loopmasters as the production company unless they are the actual creator.
    • Vocal sample link: Copy and paste the link to the vocal or the sample pack file.
    • Upload license: PDF document corresponding to the vendor company.
  • Exclusive: Exclusive vocals are limited to one copy and therefore more valuable. Depending on who created the vocal, the requirements vary:
    • You are the author: If you wrote the lyrics and performed the vocal yourself, select "I'm the original author and singer." You won't need to provide any license as long as you compose and perform the vocal.
    • You license from a company or vocalist: If someone else composed and performed the vocal – whether hired or through collaboration – select "I have a license or contract from a third party" and upload a PDF document corresponding to either the vendor company (license) or the original contract signed with the author. The document must clearly state that you fully own the vocal and have the right to sell it. It should also confirm that the singer waives all rights to the recording and will not request credit, royalties, or future payments. Download template
  • AI-generated:

Make sure the AI tool provides a royalty-free, commercial-use license that allows you to use the generated vocals in tracks you plan to sell. Always check for clear terms of use and ensure the tool is operated by a legitimate company. Keep in mind that free or trial versions typically do not include commercial rights.

If your track contains AI-generated vocals, you’ll be required to provide:

    • AI Provider: e.g., Suno.
    • Upload License: PDF document corresponding to the vendor company and the current month.

Samples list

You may use AI-generated or third-party licensed melodic loops, as long as they are properly credited. If your track includes any melodic sample loops, you must list them accurately in the Samples List section:

Royalty-free (Dropgun Samples, Black Octopus Sound, etc.)

  • Instrument: Use Title Case. The instrument name should be short and clear (e.g., Bass).
  • Sample pack: Follow this format – "Production Company – Name of the Pack" (e.g., Cymatics – CHAOS).
  • Sample name: Copy and paste the sample file name exactly as it appears (e.g., Cymatics – CHAOS_BASS_F#_9).
  • Upload license: PDF document corresponding to the vendor company.

AI Generated (Suno, Udio, etc.)

  • Instrument: Use Title Case (e.g., Bass).
  • AI provider: e.g., Suno.
  • Upload license: PDF document corresponding to the vendor company.

Setup

Provide detailed information about the setup used to produce your work:

  • OS: macOS or Windows.
  • DAW: Select the DAW you used to produce the work. Currently accepted: Ableton Live, FL Studio, Logic Pro, Cubase, and Studio One.
  • DAW Version: Include the version number only (e.g., 11.2). Do not include the DAW name. Beta versions are not accepted.
  • Software: List the main plugins and virtual instruments used.
  • Hardware: Specify the laptop, analog synths, or real instruments used in production.

Notes

Use this section to share additional insights about your production. This could include creative decisions, mixing techniques, or unique elements that make your work stand out.

You can mention things like:

  • The concept or inspiration behind the work.
  • How you built a particular sound design or drop.
  • Any special techniques, plugins, or workflows that shaped the final result.

The more context you provide, the more attractive your work becomes to potential buyers — especially producers who want to learn from your process or build on your sound.

Extras

Here you can upload a short video that walks through your project file or shares useful production insights.

The video can be either a screen recording with a voice-over showing your workflow and techniques, or a camera video where you explain your process in person.

Show how you arranged the work, mixed key elements, or used specific effects – anything that gives buyers a deeper look into your creative process.

This kind of content really increases buyer confidence and makes your work stand out in the marketplace. A clear, well-presented video can be the difference between a casual view and a sale. It also helps strengthen your personal branding on the platform and showcase your skills as a producer.

8. Selling Terms

Price

The work’s initial price can be set in euros by the seller; however, we reserve the right to disapprove the price if it appears inconsistent with the quality or content of the submitted work. In such cases, our team may propose a revised price along with a partial rejection, which you may choose to accept or decline.

The final price depends on several factors: the quality, production level and creation process. When setting the price of your work, take into account the following:

  • Do not underprice your work – it may lose the chance to be featured as a Favorite or Premium publication. Below are the minimum prices based on the creation process of your work:
    • Original / Hybrid: 200€
    • Sampled: 150€
    • AI-generated: fixed to 100€
  • Do not overprice your work. As mentioned in the Sales section below, price reductions are limited to 30%, so overpricing may leave you with an overpriced publication that has little chance of being sold.
  • Prices must be rounded to the nearest 50 or 100 (e.g., 250€ is allowed, but 249€ is not).

Project file

You can choose whether or not to make the project file available for sale. Making it available increases the chance of selling your work and adds an extra amount to your payment.

If you prefer not to sell your project, no worries – simply select "No", and it won’t be offered to buyers.

However, even in this case, you must still upload the project file so our team can perform the necessary security and content verification checks.

Author attribution

We offer sellers the option to be credited as the author and producer of the works they sell, or to remain anonymous.

When publishing a work for sale or offering custom services, you can decide whether your name appears in the credits as the composer and producer. This choice is permanent and irreversible once a work or service has been purchased.

If you choose to be credited, the buyer must include your legal name (not your artist name) in the author registry and production credits upon release. You will not be credited as the interpreter, artist, or performer – this is not a collaboration; these rights belong exclusively to the buyer. Please note that being credited does not imply additional royalties or payments beyond the one-time sale. This option simply lets you decide whether you wish to be publicly recognized as the author of the work.

If you choose to remain anonymous, attribution is not required, and your name will not appear in the authors’ registry or any credits.

9. A&R Tips

Show personality

In today’s world – where tech and AI play a bigger role every day – authenticity and personality matter more than ever. This applies not only to your music career but also to your journey as a seller on Edmwarriors.

To succeed here, your music and your brand must stand out. We encourage you to make your sound unique, your presentation memorable, and your communication personal. Every detail – from your profile to your product descriptions – shapes how the community perceives your work.

Do's
  • Show your face in your profile picture. People connect with people.
  • Write with personality in your bio and product descriptions – let your story and values shine through.
  • Curate your visuals carefully. Your cover art, branding, and even your work names reflect your artistic identity.
  • Show your achievements. Link your Spotify profile, monthly streams, releases, or demos – give buyers confidence and context.
⚠️ Don'ts
  • Don’t use low-quality AI-generated art. Generic AI-generated futuristic/cyberpunk covers that look like countless others make your product seem cheap or inauthentic.
  • Don’t copy logos or impersonate other artists. Be yourself – originality builds trust and recognition.
  • Don’t neglect your profile. An incomplete profile makes buyers hesitate.

Complete your profile

Leverage every feature Edmwarriors offers to show who you are and what you offer – as both an artist and a seller. The more information you share, the easier it is for others to connect with your sound and your story.

Don't go anonymous

You’re free to stay anonymous if that’s part of your artistic vision – we respect that. But if you can, show up. Put your name, face, and brand out there. Building visibility on Edmwarriors not only helps you make sales – it also helps you grow beyond the platform.

Develop an artist brand

Don’t get comfortable. Keep evolving. Having your own identity, releases, and artistic direction will strengthen your presence on Edmwarriors. We want to support our sellers who strive to be recognized as true creators – artists whose work goes beyond the screen.

Strive for perfection

We encourage you to aim for excellence – not mediocrity. At Edmwarriors, quality always comes first. If your goal is to sell the cheapest product possible, this might not be the right place for you. We welcome affordable products, but our standards remain high.

We believe in artists who care – about their sound, their image, and their craft. You’re not just selling tracks. You’re building a name.
